Senior Citizen Water Rates

Postcards were mailed out to all residents indicating that the Board has approved the “Special Senior Water Rate.” Applications are now available at the Treasurer’s Office.  In order to be eligible, you must be 65 years or older, be a Sumpter Township resident homeowner, and be able to provide proof of both and sign an affidavit (located at the Treasurer's Office). The purpose of the affidavit is to bill you for your actual water usage, instead of the current minimum billing procedure. This procedure will be implemented in the coming months on your quarterly water bill.  If you have any questions, please contact us at (734) 461-6201 ext. 2242.
